“Here Lies Love” is a groundbreaking musical about former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos’s astonishing rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. Clint Ramos is a creative director, designer, educator, advocate and producer. He is the Producing Creative Director for Encores! at New York City Center and is the costume designer and a lead producer on “Here Lies Love” - now running at The Broadway Theatre starring an all Filipino cast.

Berkshire Theatre Group’s production of "Million Dollar Quartet" is running through Sunday at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Alan Freed was a Cleveland radio DJ who helped popularize rock and roll in the early 1950s. The new musical about his life, “Rock & Roll Man,” opened off-Broadway at New World Stages on June 21.“Rock & Roll Man” features classics created by legends such as Little Richard, Chuck Berry, LaVern Baker, Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, as well as original songs written just for the stage by Gary Kupper, who also penned the book for the show with Larry Marshak and Rose Caiola.Rock & Roll Man, starring Tony Award-nominee Constantine Maroulis and Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano. Maroulis plays the Rock & Roll Man himself and he joins us now. His stage credits include Broadway’s Rock of Ages (Tony nomination), RENT, Jesus Chris Superstar, and more. Maroulis also has an active career as a concert performer and competed on season 4 of “American Idol.”

This Saturday, July 8 at 8 p.m. at Tanglewood, The Boston Pops performs “Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert,” prepared by the original creators Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens, and Stephen Flaherty especially for the Pops.Keith Lockhart conducts and the vocal cast joining the pops features Broadway stars Alton Fitzgerald White, Elizabeth Stanley, Nikki Renée Daniels, David Harris, and John Cariani -- who joins us now – along with "Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert '' stage director, Jason Danieley. Both Cariani and Danieley are well known on Broadway and Berkshire stages.

Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts opens its first mainstage show of the season this week as Artistic Director Alan Paul directs “Cabaret.” Set during the twilight of the Jazz Age in pre-war Berlin, “Cabaret” is Kander and Ebb’s party at the end of the world with a book by Joe Masteroff; based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Chstirtopher Isherwood. “Cabaret” will play in Pittsfield on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage June 14-July 8. Krysta Rodriguez will take on the often bobbed and never forgotten role of Sally Bowles.

“Ain’t Too Proud” is the musical that follows The Temptations' extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It is playing now through Sunday at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York.Brittny Smith plays Johnnie Mae & Mary Wilson in the National Tour of “Ain’t too Proud.”

Jagged Little Pill is the new musical based on Alanis Morissette’s world-changing music and the show now on stage at Proctors in Schenectady, New York through Sunday.
