Harbinger Theatre is back. In collaboration with Circle Theatre Players and Sand Lake Center for The Arts, they will put on a production of ‘Dig’ by Theresa Rebeck, running from the 21 to the 30 of April.A dying plant shop in a dying neighborhood receives a visitor from the past: Megan, the neighborhood screw-up, who made a suicide attempt after a terrible tragedy. Roger, the store owner, wants nothing to do with this situation, but Megan is improbably clinging to life. Can a soul beyond saving be saved? A play about courage, redemption, and photosynthesis.Joining us this morning – we welcome: Patrick White – Harbinger Theatre co-founder and Director of “Dig” and Actors Laura Graver who plays Megan and Adam Coons who plays Roger.

“Drinking in America,” written by three-time Obie Award winner Eric Bogosian and starring Andre Royo opened this past Sunday night at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City. The show, which was directed by Mark Armstrong, will also be recorded and released on Audible at a later date, extending its reach to millions of listeners around the world. Performances of the four-week limited engagement of “Drinking in America” began on March 10 and the show runs off-Broadway through April 14.

Famous for defending the Chicago Seven and his involvement at Attica and Wounded Knee, attorney William Kunstler had an outsize personality and a tremendous appetite for life. In the play “Kunstler,” tensions flare when he arrives on a college campus to give a seminar. The brilliant young law student assigned to introduce him objects to his appearance and is determined to confront him. “Kunstler” will run at Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York February 3-5.
