WAMC Fund Drive

  • In record time, WAMC/Northeast Public Radio has successfully achieved its goal of raising $1.25 million in its February Fund Drive. It was the first time the goal was raised in 13 years.

  • WAMC/Northeast Public Radio completed its June Fund Drive on Thursday, June 8, 2023, exceeding its $1,000,000 goal to sustain the station's award-winning news and cultural programming.
  • WAMC/Northeast Public Radio completed its October Fund Drive on October 21, 2022, raising over $1,000,000 to support the station's award-winning news and cultural programming. WAMC board and staff thank its listeners for their generosity and devotion to the station. In total, the on-air portion of the drive took less than 12 hours over the week. This is the third and final drive of 2022 for WAMC.
  • WAMC/Northeast Public Radio completed its June Fund Drive on June 9, 2022, raising over $1,000,000 to support the station’s award-winning news and cultural programming thanks to the generosity of listeners contributing during 12 hours over four days of on-air fundraising and also to the Locked Box. This drive marks the second of three this year.
  • WAMC/Northeast Public Radio successfully completed its February Fund Drive on February 7th, raising over $1,000,000 to support the station’s award-winning news and cultural programming. The first drive of the calendar year was remarkably quick due to the generosity of listeners giving many contributions to the Locked Box. The remaining contributions came during one hour of on-air fundraising Monday morning.
  • WAMC/Northeast Public Radio successfully completed its Fall Fund Drive on October 4th, raising $1,000,000 to support the station’s award-winning news and cultural programming. At the same time, the station mobilized listeners to help provide food for families during the winter months and acquire carbon reduction certificates to limit carbon emissions in the environment.
