  • Erin Harkes celebrates the release of her first video special (and second album) on Wednesday, December 6 at a special comedy concert event at Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York.Oft voted “Best Local Comedian”, Harkes celebrates the release of the new album as a part of her monthly series: “Women Aren’t Funny at UPH!” Erin will shows clips from the special and then will perform an entirely new set of material.Having found great comfort in front of an audience she was able to make this transition smoothly. In a very short amount of time she achieved much local success and has since performed nearly every major club in NYC and in Toronto and Montreal. She is also a regular feature at Funny Bone Comedy Clubs across the country.
  • Comedian and Emmy nominated writer, Nimesh Patel, will bring his Fast and Loose tour to the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York on Sunday, October 15.The Emmy nominated writer and comedian has risen the ranks to some of comedies biggest stages due to his unassailable joke writing, prolific output and innovative marketing. Named one of Variety's prestigious "10 Comics to Watch of 2023" and described by Vulture as "the sophistication of street sense," Nimesh has charted a path from sold out comedy clubs to major theaters.
  • Comedian, actor, television writer, author and musician Paul Reiser co-starred as Paul Buchman in the decade-defining 1990s comedy, "Mad About You." He's doing stand-up on October 7 at UPH in Saratoga Springs, New York.
  • Actor, writer, producer, and comedian Ilana Glazer is on the road with Ilana Glazer: Live! A new stand-up tour that will bring her to Albany, New York on June 15 and to The Academy of Music in Northamptom and MASS MoCA in North Adams – both of those Massachusetts shows are in August.
  • Paula Poundstone will take the stage at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 14th, at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, NY.
  • The O+ Festival will return to Kingston, NY for the 12th annual celebration of art, music and wellness October 7-9, 2022.
  • Taking to the Main Stage at Williamstown Theater Festival, Alex Edelman's "Just For Us," takes the audience through hilarious anecdotes from Alex Edelman’s life. After a string of anti-Semitic abuse is directed at Edelman online, he decides to covertly attend a gathering of White Nationalists in New York City and comes face to face with the people behind the keyboards. The result is a hair-raising encounter that gives "Just For Us" its title and final, jaw-dropping twist.
  • Gilbert Gottfried, the comedian, “Aladdin” star and owner of the most recognizable voice in Hollywood, has died after battling a long illness. He was 67. In 2016, Gottfried headlined the Woodstock Comedy Festival and I spoke with him about his career. We air that interview now - in full - in memoriam.

  • Sandra Bernhard will return to the live stage with her first performances since February 2020. The comedienne/performer/actress is now doing her "Sandra Bernhard: Madness and Mayhem" shows at the City Winery at Hudson River Park in Manhattan on August 28 and 31.
