The exhibition, “Porcelain Love Letters: The Art of Mara Superior” opens at The Shelburne Museum on May 10.Superior’s porcelain art combines intricate painted imagery and sculptural forms through which she explores themes of history, domesticity, and environmentalism.

"Americans Who Tell the Truth" is a new exhibit now on display at the Albany Institute of History and Art which showcases a selection of portraits by Robert Shetterly, featuring individuals throughout U.S. history, many with connections to the region including Indigenous human rights advocate Oren Lyons, Grafton, NY-based food justice activist and author of "Farming While Black" Leah Penniman, and folk legend and environmental activist Pete Seeger.

“Yiddish: A Global Culture” is an acclaimed and original permanent exhibition at The Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, Massachusetts. It opened in Fall of 2023. The exhibition features hundreds of rare objects, family heirlooms, photographs, music, and videos that illuminate the expansive story of modern Yiddish cultural reach.Lisa Newman is director of publishing and public programs at The Yiddish Book Center. David Mazower is the center’s research bibliographer and editorial director - and is the chief curator and writer of “Yiddish: A Global Culture.”

The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, New York offers a collection of artworks that spans nearly 6,000 years of art history, from the ancient world to the present day. The museum's diverse and curated holdings include masterpieces from antiquity, the Renaissance, the modern era, and contemporary art.

The exhibit "The Circus is Coming to Town" is on view at the Bennington Museum in Bennington, Vermont through 12/31.

This Saturday, September 7, the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York will open a major new exhibition entitled “Menagerie: Animals in Art from the Wellin Museum.”

The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College has a new monumental exhibition that fills its biggest galleries.The large-scale painted and sculptural works address humankind’s strained relationship with the environment and its vast ecological consequences. The exhibition is titled "Mark Dion and Alexis Rockman: Journey to Nature’s Underworld."

The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, New York has opened a new exhibition titled “Native Prospects: Indigeneity and Landscape.” It juxtaposes an Indigenous approach to the articulation of their homelands and the environment with the American landscape paintings of Thomas Cole, which are rooted in European tradition.
