New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he met with federal authorities about a corruption case against a former top aide.

Cuomo told reporters Thursday that the voluntary meeting took place following the September announcement of criminal charges against longtime adviser Joe Percoco and the other men.

Cuomo, a Democrat, has not been accused of wrongdoing, and says he was not under oath during the meeting. He said he doesn't know if he will be called as a witness during Percoco's trial.

Percoco, former SUNY Polytechnic Institute President Alain Kaloyeros and the other men have all pleaded not guilty. The case involves alleged bid-rigging and bribery related to state economic development projects.
