CoveCare Center invites you to join us and all those who through their hope and hard work are empowered to change and find the quality of life that they deserve!
The 2026 Imagine Gala – our biggest fundraising event of the year – is being held on Friday, November 13th at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY. This year we will be honoring Ledley Food Service, Brian and Patricia Ledley, a trusted community partner known for exceptional service and a commitment to giving back. Their support of CoveCare Center reflects a shared dedication to strengthening our community and helping individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges.
The evening will feature a cocktail hour perfect for networking, a seated dinner, dancing, and our popular silent auction. Our Community Giving Tree will also be on display, featuring the many programs and services your donation could impact. All proceeds directly support CoveCare Center’s mental health, substance use, community-based and support services, and our ability to remain an accessible and affordable resource for the community.

The Berkshire Nature Talk Series continues with a look at the insects most of us take for granted until they're gone. Kyle Bradford of the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program (FEP) joins the series to talk about bees and how they hold ecosystems and our food systems together, and what puts that work at risk.
Bradford has spent more than a decade in the field, from ant surveys in Columbia County to insect pest detection in California vineyards to graduate research on ants in the pine barrens of western Massachusetts. That range is reflected in how he talks about bees, not as an isolated topic but as one thread in a much larger web of human-managed land, landscape history, and the conservation choices we’re making right now. Expect a talk grounded in fieldwork and, given Bradford’s side career as a nature photographer, expect it to look as good as it sounds.
Bradford holds an MS in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont. He first found his footing in insect ecology as an FEP intern in 2012, and his interests have ranged across biogeography, rare species conservation, and the question of how landscape history should shape the conservation work being done today.
This event is free for West Stockbridge Historical Society members and open to the public with a suggested $10 donation for non-members. Seating is limited to 80 attendees. Cash only at door. To reserve your spot, go to weststockbridgehistory.org

Voices in Stone: A Journey of Seals Across Cultures brings the traditional Chinese art of stone seal carving into a modern, multicultural context. The project will feature twenty hand-carved seals that blend Eastern technique with Western meaning, using words and phrases drawn from poetry, philosophy, scripture, and names familiar to American audiences.
By combining meaningful Western texts with the aesthetics of Chinese seal carving, the project creates a quiet dialogue across cultures, inviting viewers to reflect on shared values and the beauty of cross-cultural expression.

September 1 - December 5, 2026 Light and Transient CausesIn the 250th anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence, this exhibition takes its name from a line in the document that suggests that some grievances may prove too fleeting to justify revolution—and considers asymmetries of perception of what is deemed light enough to ignore, transient enough to postpone. Curated by Marisa Espe.
