A popular annual fundraiser organized by Friends of Prospect Park, this self-guided walking tour features more than 35 private and semi-private urban gardens in Troy’s historic downtown neighborhoods. Held rain or shine, the event showcases gardens as diverse as the people who own them—each one reflecting its owner’s unique personality.
Tour-goers may check in after 4 p.m. at the Russell Sage College parking lot on First Street to receive a tour map. Gardens may be visited in any order. Please note that wheelchair and stroller access is limited, and dogs are not permitted in the private gardens.

Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more! Wendy Eisenberg is a virtuoso guitarist and singer-songwriter who moves fluidly between art-rock, jazz, free improvisation, and folk — arriving this year with their most fully realized work yet.
Elori Saxl is a New York-based composer and key figure in an emerging generation of American experimental musicians. She carries the torch of minimalism forward, fusing it with a sensibility shaped by sound-system culture and contemporary pop production.
