Set against the beautiful, industrial setting of Basilica Hudson's 1880’s repurposed factory, it's a perfect way to jump into the holiday season to find an extraordinary array of local, vintage and handmade gifts, representing the abundance and splendor of the Hudson Valley.

Material Shift showcases work by 13 Haudenosaunee artists who employ found objects and other unconventional materials to create or illustrate traditional cultural objects or concepts and those who, conversely, explore traditional materials in unexpected ways. Works range from playful to provocative. These events are made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum & Library Services, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, and friends and members of the Iroquois Museum. September 1 - December 5, 2026 Light and Transient CausesIn the 250th anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence, this exhibition takes its name from a line in the document that suggests that some grievances may prove too fleeting to justify revolution—and considers asymmetries of perception of what is deemed light enough to ignore, transient enough to postpone. Curated by Marisa Espe.
