To commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence, New York announced an 18-month-long exhibit dedicated to the war that gained that independence.

In 2024, new artifacts from the nation’s early conflicts were found at Liberty Hill on the grounds of Fort Ticonderoga. Officials recently announced the discovery and that more than 500 items, many dating to the American Revolution, have been preserved.

The remains of more than 40 Revolutionary War soldiers were laid to rest in Lake George Friday after being discovered in 2019.
