My first impression of “Joan,” a play about Joan Rivers playing at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA, was that it felt like a juke box musical without any music.

“Joan: A New Play About Joan Rivers” is having its regional premiere at the Barrington Stage Company’s Boyd-Quinson Stage in downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts.The audience will discover the pioneer who conquered a man’s world, the mother of all-time punchlines, and the woman who had it all, lost it all, and did it all. Mark St. Germain’s new play, “Forgiveness,” having its World Premiere at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Taking place in Minnesota, a former convict is allowed to seek forgiveness from the Governor. They have 10 minutes to plead their case in a dramatic, pressurized process to gain acceptance back into the fold, or be stuck forever on the outskirts of society.

Barrington Stage Company began its run of Mark Camoletti’s hilarious 1960 French farce “Boeing Boeing.” The play runs July 17th till August 3rd at Boyd-Quinton Stage, stars Debra Jo Rupp, and the play won a new generation of fans with a critically acclaimed award-winning Broadway production in 2008.

Alison Larkin's latest work is a one-person play with music entitled “Grief… A Comedy” - and Alison will perform it tonight through Sunday on Barrington Stage Company’s St. Germain Stage in Pittsfield, Massachusetts before bringing the show to this summer’s Edinburgh Fringe and then - around the globe.

Mark St. Germain’s new play, "The Happiest Man on Earth" had its World Premiere in the Berkshires this Spring. Now, due to overwhelming popular demand, the play is returning to Barrington Stage Company’s St. Germain Stage in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It's re-opening Friday night and runs through October 8.

“A New Brain” was produced off-Broadway in 1998 and an incredible production is currently running on Barrington Stage Company’s Boyd-Quinson Mainstage in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, presented in association with the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Broadway stars Adam Chanler-Berat and Mary Testa play Gordon Schwinn and The Mother.

Barrington Stage Company’s production of "Faith Healer" is running in Pittsfield, Massachusetts through August 27 on the St. Germain Stage. In the play, the mysterious and charismatic Frank Hardy travels as a faith healer across the Welsh and Scottish countryside.
