"They found a vehicle that had been shot up. There were two victims inside of the vehicle."

Police say a 17-year-old victim died of his injuries at Albany Medical Center. Hawkins says the other victim, a 25-year-old man, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Albany Med. Like many shootings this summer, Hawkins describes the violence as another incident where people were feuding.

"We suspect that there were two different types of weapons that were used and at least two different suspects involved in this."

Later Monday night, police say a 22-year-old man entered Albany Med with a gunshot wound to the leg following a shooting by Beverly Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around 9:50 p.m. Just 10 minutes later, police found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the arm and torso by Moore Street and Saint Georges Place. Police say he has since died of his injuries, and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Nearly 100 people have been in injured in shootings in Albany so far this year.

Police in Troy also responded to a pair of shootings Monday night. Police say a 23-year-old man died of his injuries following a shooting on 4th Street and Adams Street. In the other incident on 6th Avenue, police found a female victim with minor injuries.
