Tune into Food Friday this week when sommelier Dominick Purnomo, co-owner of  Yono's Restaurant and dp An American Brasserie, joins host Ray Graf to talk about wine tasting and wine pairings for your next catered affair!

Tip #1:
When attending a dinner party where the menu is unbeknownst to you, bring a bottle of champagne or other sparkling wine.  The acidity lends itself to the widest range of food.  And it's the perfect way to celebrate any occasion.

Tip #2:
Most people drink their reds too warm and their whites too cold.  Put your red wines in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before opening them.  The change in flavor will be noticeable.  If your whites have been chilling for a few hours or longer, pull them out of the fridge 15 minutes before serving to allow them to warm up.
