Ages 16+. Explore the possibilities of collagraph, a cardboard or plastic plate matrix that offers the opportunity to create rich linear or textural prints. Various approaches to the medium will be explored, and students will learn how to prepare their own plates for silk aquatint. Additional processes such as stenciling, à la poupée wiping, Chine collé, and multiple plate registration will be covered. This is an advanced workshop, and students can choose to work with multiple processes and approaches or focus on developing a cohesive portfolio of prints.

Storytime promotes early literacy, and helps young learners become kindergarten ready by practicing sitting, listening, reading, sharing, following directions, movement, and song with other children and adults.

Told from the perspective of six young women who come of age during this enigmatic decade, BEEHIVE is a musical revue that celebrates the powerful female voices of the 1960s - with songs like “Proud Mary”, “Me and Bobby McGee”, “A Natural Woman,” “To Sir With Love”, “Son of Preacher Man”, and many, many more!

You’ll be dancing in the aisles as you’re reminded how the great songs of the 60’s thrilled us, challenged us and made us see the world in a whole new way.

Hackard Law is excited to support the KCRA 3 Kids Can! Food Drive, which has been assisting our local families since 1987. Running from October 9th to November 10th, this event will provide food aid across Northern California. We are proud to be involved and encourage others in the community to join us! Schools can participate by signing up as donation locations, and we welcome individuals to join our effort by contributing non-perishable food items. Together, we can make a difference!

The Great Barrington Farmers’ Market begins its 34th season on Saturday, May 11. The market will be returning to its downtown location at 18 Church Street and will run from 9:00-1:00 every Saturday through October 28.

The 2024 season runs concurrently with the Great Barrington Arts Market (GBAM) Weekly music throughout the season will be provided by Berkshire Busk.

The market welcomes SNAP/ EBT as well as WIC and SFMNP vouchers. This year, due to a generous grant from Berkshire Agricultural Ventures we are matching SNAP transactions up to $30.00 per family each week.

In addition to matching benefits, the Market participates in the Healthy Incentives Program, or HIP. A dollar-for-dollar matching benefit for fruits and vegetables is provided through SNAP. The majority of our eligible produce vendors are participating, allowing SNAP recipients to stretch their benefits even further.

The Great Barrington Farmer’s Market is a 100% producer-only market offering a wide assortment of vegetables, fruit, cheese, bread, bagels, seedlings, cut flowers, honey, maple syrup, mushrooms, eggs, ferments, coffee, dried and fresh herbs, pastured meats, baked goods, and jam. This year's prepared food offerings include egg sandos from Off the Shelf, Sausage Sandwiches from North Plain Farm, and NEW foods by Tiffinwaali.

The motto at the Great Barrington Farmers’ Market is “Always local, always fresh”. Our mission is to support and promote the local agricultural community, simultaneously keeping our food dollars local and our energy consumption to a minimum.

To increase customer safety and traffic flow on Main Street, the intersection of Church and Main Streets will be closed during the market. Customers coming from the north can access the market from Pleasant Street, and those from the south can access the market from School Street. Parking is available in the rear of the TDBank building and is accessible by Church Street.

The Next Stage Gallery presents “Hannah Harvester: Landscapes,” on exhibit from August 17th through November 19th.

Hannah Harvester works in oils and soft pastels and is known both for her rural landscapes and sensitive portraits of children and families. She is also a teacher of drawing, pastel painting, and printmaking for adults and children.

The Next Stage Gallery is open to the public during scheduled performances in the theater and by appointment.
