Offered on alternating Thursdays from May to September, Tai Chi is a gentle practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves strength and stability. Set against the serene backdrop of LongHouse, this class welcomes all ages and experience levels to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the beauty around you. Also offered on Saturdays.

The 2026 Imagine Gala – our biggest fundraising event of the year – is being held on Friday, November 13th at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY. This year we will be honoring Ledley Food Service, Brian and Patricia Ledley, a trusted community partner known for exceptional service and a commitment to giving back. Their support of CoveCare Center reflects a shared dedication to strengthening our community and helping individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges.

The evening will feature a cocktail hour perfect for networking, a seated dinner, dancing, and our popular silent auction. Our Community Giving Tree will also be on display, featuring the many programs and services your donation could impact. All proceeds directly support CoveCare Center’s mental health, substance use, community-based and support services, and our ability to remain an accessible and affordable resource for the community.

This November, UAlbany is bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics to life at its annual STEM and Nanotechnology Family Day. This year’s event will shine a special spotlight on the power of nanotechnology - from semiconductors and CHIPS manufacturing to smart materials - and the many ways discoveries at the smallest scale are shaping our world.

Families and students in grades 2–8 can explore more than 20 hands-on activities spanning nanotechnology, engineering, robotics, atmospheric and climate science, cybersecurity and more. Participants can test robots, investigate weather and climate, mix non-Newtonian fluids such as oobleck, build with LEGOs and conduct nano-inspired experiments involving thin films, light-bending materials and self-cleaning surfaces.
