One body has been recovered and police continue to search for two other men whose paddle boat capsized in the Mohawk River in central New York.
State police have recovered the body of 42-year-old Terry Moshier since the accident on Monday afternoon near Little Falls. They continue to search the river for 23-year-old Kevin Moak and 18-year-old Ryan Moak. Witnesses last saw them on the boat near some rapids, yelling for help.
The relationship among the missing boaters was not immediately known.
Herkimer County Sheriff Chris Farber told the Observer-Dispatch of Utica that the paddle boat, which was recovered without its passengers, was made to carry two people.
Farber said nobody should have been in water because of the strong current, murky conditions and debris.
