Susan Edwards

Windsor, Massachusetts elected a new Selectman this week.

112 of the Berkshire County town’s 657 registered voters traveled to Windsor Town Hall Monday to pick between two candidates for selectman: Janet Sadlo and Marcel Mazeau.

“Janet’s been the assistant to the select board for the last three years, and Marcel has been the secretary of the ZBA,” Windsor town clerk Madeline Scully told WAMC.

Sadlo carried the day with 76 votes. Her term on the select board will last for three years.

Josh Landes has been WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief since February 2018, following stints at WBGO Newark and WFMU East Orange. A passionate advocate for Western Massachusetts, Landes was raised in Pittsfield and attended Hampshire College in Amherst, receiving his bachelor's in Ethnomusicology and Radio Production. His free time is spent with his cat Harry, experimental electronic music, and exploring the woods.
