Windsor Town Flag Arrives At Massachusetts State House

Susan Edwards

The Windsor town flag is nearing the end of its 130-mile journey from a design concept to its future home in the Massachusetts State House Great Hall of Flags.State Senator Ben Downing and Representative Paul Mark recently delivered the newly-designed Windsor town flag to the Bureau of the State House. Longtime resident Susan Edwards is the artist behind the green, white and blue flag representing Windsor’s forests, fields and snow.

“The gravity of what I was doing didn’t happen until they actually selected my design,” Edwards said. “I realized this is going to Boston. This is going to be there until the end of time. It’s a legacy.”

After being cataloged the flag will be hung in the Great Hall of Flags.
