Democrat Endorsed In 21st Congressional Race

Aaron Woolf

The Democratic chairs from the 12 counties of the 21st Congressional District have endorsed a candidate to run for the seat being vacated by retiring Congressman Bill Owens.

Following a day-long meeting in Long Lake, the 12 Democratic Chairs released a statement announcing their endorsement of Aaron Woolf of Elizabethtown.
Washington County Chairman Sheila Comar said Woolf was the best candidate to “...continue Representative Bill Owens’ work...”

Woolf is a documentary film writer and producer from Elizabethtown best known for the film “King Corn”. He is on the board of the Adirondack Council and has little political experience.

Last week, the Republican chairs in the 21st district endorsed Elise Stefanik.
