The City of Cohoes has chosen a non-profit to administer fire relief funds to residents affected by the blaze that tore through Remsen Street in late November.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany will be the lead agency in administering the relief funds, city leaders announced Friday.
Over $104,000 will go to more than 35 families.
Funds are set to be transferred from various community banks to Catholic Charities during a meeting set for Tuesday, January 16th at 10 a.m. at Cohoes City Hall.
