Executive director Marcia White, who has served Saratoga Performing Arts Center for 11 years, announced her retirement Friday, saying the upcoming 50th season will be her last.
In a statement, White thanked SPAC and its board for the opportunity and said it was a “privilege and a joy of my life to lead, serve, and work for one of the most extraordinary performing arts centers in the world.”
White oversaw more than $5.7 million in renovations and the organization credited her with bringing programming to a wider audience.
SPAC says nonprofit executive search firm Phillips Oppenheim will lead the search for White’s replacement.
