Facebook Offering A 'Boost' To Small Business In Western Mass.

Facebook is bringing an education program for small business owners to Springfield, Massachusetts later this year.

Springfield is one of 30 cities where Facebook will offer its Community Boost program.

It is a two-day free series of workshops, training and networking sessions intended to give small business owners the digital tools and tips needed for success.

WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Doug Frisbie, Facebook’s global marketing director for Community Boost.

The schedule for the Community Boost program in Springfield on September 10 and 11^th has not been finalized.
