Pat Bradley

After a loss to Hillary Clinton in Nevada, Vermont U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is hoping to rally supporters in Massachusetts.

With just over a week until the Massachusetts primary, Sanders will make a return to New England to speak at UMass Amherst on Monday.

The Massachusetts primary to be held on March 1st is one of several around the country on "Super Tuesday." Sanders' home state of Vermont will also be holding its primary that day.

According to the candidate's campaign website, Sanders will discuss a range of issues including college affordability, getting money out of politics, and climate change.

The event scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the William D. Mullins Memorial Center is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.

GOP presidential candidate and Ohio Governor John Kasich made a campaign stop in Worcester on Saturday.
