MASS MoCA has unveiled the lineup for its Solid Sound Festival coming up in June.The weekend festival in North Adams started by and featuring alternative rock band Wilco returns after a one-year hiatus. This year’s lineup features Taj Mahal, Mac DeMarco, Real Estate and more. Museum director Joseph Thompson says weekend camping options for the thousands of visitors are being simplified.
“We have two campgrounds instead of three or four scattered hither and yon,” Thompson said during a museum performance announcement in 2014. “The Fresh Ground camp will be just over the Rt. 2 bridge and Hoosac Valley High School will once host a bunch of campers and they’re going to expand that quite a bit.”
Tickets for the June 26 through 28th festival, which also features a comedy lineup, are now on sale.
