A few high school students in Orange County decided to give back to their community by performing at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic.

Three Monroe-Woodbury High School students played classical music at Orange County’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Hatfield Lane in Goshen April 1st. Stephanie Peng, who plays the violin, says she was inspired by famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma, who played during the required 15-minute observation period following his second shot of the vaccine two weeks ago in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He played to help calm those who were anxious about receiving their second inoculation. Peng, a junior, invited two classmates — Jennifer Song and Emily Wang —to join her.
