The mayor of Poughkeepsie, New York has tested positive for COVID-19.

City of Poughkeepsie Mayor Rob Rolison tested positive for COVID-19 after not feeling well last week. He stayed home and then got tested. Rolison says he is now feeling fine after a few days with aches, pains and a slight fever. Rolison is in quarantine at home, where he will work the rest of the week. He hopes to be able to return to City Hall next week. City Hall has been closed to the public since November 17 after various city employees tested positive for COVID-19. As of Monday morning, the city had 58 active cases and Dutchess County, 667.
