Acclaimed pianist Katya Grineva returns to Carnegie Hall for her highly anticipated “A Classical Holiday” concert for one night only, Friday, December 26, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. Celebrating her 23rd Stern Auditorium appearance, Katya has performed at the venue more than any other female artist. In what has become a seasonal tradition for local New York City families and tourists alike, Katya’s festive concert is a highlight of the holiday season. The Norman Rockwell Museum is honored to present a rare series of early twentieth century lighting advertisements by Norman Rockwell and fellow Golden Age illustrators Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, Dean Cornwell, Stanley Arthurs, Worth Brehm, and Charles Chambers created for Edison Mazda Lamps, a division of the General Electric Company. These luminous, richly painted works were widely circulated in published advertisements through the 1920s and are on loan to the Museum for the first time through the generosity of GE Aerospace.
Step back into the vibrant world of the 1920s and 1930s with Jazz Age Illustration, a major exhibition exploring the art of popular illustration during this transformative era. Featuring over 100 works by renowned artists such as Aaron Douglas, John Held Jr., and Frank E. Schoonover, the exhibition delves into the cultural impact of illustration during a time of dramatic social change.
Organized by the Delaware Art Museum, Jazz Age Illustration is the first major exhibition to survey the art of popular illustration in the United States between 1919 and 1942—a vibrant and transformative era of innovation, evolving styles, social change, and expanding popular media.
This heartwarming collection of holiday themed works by Norman Rockwell—from Thanksgiving and Christmas to New Year’s—are showcased in this lively installation of enduring seasonal favorites. Discover the secret to making people laugh without saying a word in this dynamic Physical Comedy Crash Course with master physical comedian Peter Daniel Straus. This hands-on workshop explores the fundamentals of physical humor, including body awareness, facial expression, rhythm, and timing, giving participants the tools to create vivid, hilarious characters and moments onstage.
Peter Daniel Straus is a lifelong physical comedian whose work spans circus, television, theatre, and live performance. You may recognize him as “Pierre the Mime” from Impractical Jokers and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. His career includes performances on The Late Show with David Letterman, at the Metropolitan Opera, with Ringling Bros. Clown College, and as a Clown Doctor in New York hospitals. He is based in Hudson, NY.
This workshop is part of Bridge Street Academy, Bridge Street Theatre’s community-based arts education program for kids and adults, designed to foster creativity, bravery, collaboration, and performance skills.

She stands out as a unique figure in the history of music, recognized as one of the few prominent female composers of her era. Her distinction goes beyond her gender; she also defied the norms of the time by composing in a broad range of forms and genres.
