Cape Breton’s Celtic legend Natalie MacMaster and Fiddle virtuoso Donnell Leahy invite some of the World’s top Celtic Musicians to join them for an incredible night!

This musical journey will feature true all-stars of the Celtic world from Ireland, England, Scotland and beyond. Natalie and Donnell will explore the connections between Celtic styles across countries and take the audience from the music’s ancient roots to its modern trends.

By creating art, we spend time connecting to our present mind & self and reach a state of mindful "flow". In this process-based class we will be finding a state of wellbeing through the use of different art materials and prompts. Through different guided meditative & projective art prompts you will strengthen your "Vagus Nerve", responsible for stress reduction in the brain and body. The prompts and activities will change weekly. Participants will leave the sessions with a sense of tranquility.

This young Brazilian violinist has already performed as soloist with the Boston Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra and won first prize at the 2024 Sphinx Competition. We feature our Horizons Young Artist in a free concert of solo violin works for all to enjoy.

Material Shift showcases work by 13 Haudenosaunee artists who employ found objects and other unconventional materials to create or illustrate traditional cultural objects or concepts and those who, conversely, explore traditional materials in unexpected ways. Works range from playful to provocative. These events are made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum & Library Services, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, and friends and members of the Iroquois Museum.
