Step back into the vibrant world of the 1920s and 1930s with Jazz Age Illustration, a major exhibition exploring the art of popular illustration during this transformative era. Featuring over 100 works by renowned artists such as Aaron Douglas, John Held Jr., and Frank E. Schoonover, the exhibition delves into the cultural impact of illustration during a time of dramatic social change.
Organized by the Delaware Art Museum, Jazz Age Illustration is the first major exhibition to survey the art of popular illustration in the United States between 1919 and 1942—a vibrant and transformative era of innovation, evolving styles, social change, and expanding popular media.

Samantha Mabee, a Navy veteran and STEM educator, created Deep Sandwich Trivia to bring people together through curiosity and play. With her mix of structure, creativity, and humor, she turns every trivia night into a shared experience that’s as memorable as it is competitive.

Cabin fever getting you down? It’s time to break the routine and get the kids out of the house! Join us in the Community Room for a fun, family-friendly morning kickoff.
We’ll start with a delicious build-your-own cereal bar, plus classic board games, card games, and Twister (about 30 minutes of play). Once everyone is fueled up and awake, we’ll turn up the volume for a high-energy sing-along of the famous K-pop–powered supernatural action film (95 minutes of action!).

Take a winter walk with the Preserve's new Stewardship Coordinator, Abigail Higgins. Abby is a forest ecologist with a deep connection to the forests of our region. Come learn from her about the trees that make up our beautiful forests.

Join Hudson River Sloop Clearwater for our January 2026 Open Boat! Spend the afternoon in community with live music, kids activities, tours of the Clearwater’s winter restoration projects, and bring a dish to pass for the potluck lunch.
