Electric City Barn is part of Albany Barn, Inc. an IRS designated 501(c)3 domestic not-for-profit corporation. Electric City Barn's mission is to be an innovative hub where emerging makers and community members collaborate on projects that bolster the creative economy and provide meaningful skill-building opportunities for local residents – a place where creativity works. We are a 9000 sq. ft. co-working and makerspace facility based on a membership model that operates on a sliding scale based on your annual income and offers different levels of membership for those 18+ in age (from General Membership to Albany Barn, Inc. to Co-Working+ Specialty Studios to Organizational Membership) based on amount of use or specific needs. Within our space, we have a Metal Shop, Wood Shop, Print Shop, Fiber Arts Studio, Media Lab, Podcasting Studio, Supply Room, Co-Working Spaces and a Stage.
