Old Franklin Day is a one-day annual summerfest on August 24, 9 am to 3 pm, on Main and Institute Streets in Franklin, NY. Start with a free pancake breakfast at Community Bible Church at 89 Center St. from 7-10 am. Enjoy rock, jazz, and country western favorites with 2 popular live bands, Off the Record (10 am- noon) and the Country Express (1-3 pm). It's Country Express' last public show -- don't miss it! Shop local with over 40 vendors and artisans and take in a fashion show at Franklin Central School at 1 pm. Pick up delicious pies for sale at St. Paul's Church and grab your faves at the library book sale. Bring the kids to enjoy the bounce house, face painting, balloon art, and other games and activities. Visit our food court vendors in the Fire Dept. lot on Main Street for a scrumptious lunch or grab BBQ chicken at the American Legion. Get deals at our town-wide lawn sales. Stroll Main Street - local restaurants and businesses are open. Franklin's welcome mat is out -- come join the fun!
