Two area U.S. Senators and a Congressman are holding a forum later this morning on Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.

U.S. Democratic Senators Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, along with Republican Congressman of New York Chris Gibson, in partnership with the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance, or TBDA, are hosting a forum at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City to build support in the fight against tick-borne diseases, including Lyme disease.  TBDA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and promoting advocacy to find a cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. The event, which begins at 10:30, will also be streamed live at SUNY Ulster County Community College in Stone Ridge, where representatives of Senator Gillibrand’s and Congressman Gibson’s offices will be in attendance along with Lyme-cure advocates.

Livestream Address: www.tbdalliance.org and www.weill.cornell.edu/tickborne.
