FilmColumbia 2017 marks 18 years of “small town, big movies” in Chatham, NY, through October 29th. The festival presents eight extraordinary days of screenings of more than 40 world-class independent and international films, plus post-screening Q&As with acclaimed artists, special tributes, and the annual screenwriting workshop, all presented by The Chatham Film Club. Screenings take place at the Crandell Theatre and Morris Memorial in Chatham.

The festival is programmed by Peter Biskind, the executive and co-artistic director of FilmColumbia 2017 and co-artistic director Laurence Kardish.

Peter Biskind joins us along with Calliope Nicholas, the Managing Director of the festival.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
