Community Corner: E. Max Frye, Co-Writer Of "Foxcatcher"

This weekend marks the wide release of Foxcatcher, a new film directed by Bennet Miller depicting the story of Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz and millionaire coach John du Pont, the murderer of Schultz’ brother, Olympian Dave Schultz.

Foxcatcher stars Steve Carrell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo. It has opened to positive reviews is on many Oscar-watch lists.

WAMC’s Lucas Willard spoke with E. Max Frye, a co-writer of the film, who discussed the process of putting the film together.

Frye recently discussed the film at the FilmColumbia festival in Chatham, New York.
