In the NBA, Portland blew out Brooklyn 124-80 as Maurice Williams had 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Will Barton dropped in 20 points and Nicolas Batum added 19 points in the Trail Blazers' fourth consecutive win and largest margin of victory this season.

Raymond Felton returned to Knicks practice on Wednesday, saying his arrest on felony weapons charges was "not a distraction" to the team.

Felton is expected to play in the  game against Miami on Thursday.  Boston won against Atlanta 115-104. Orlando beat Philadelphia 101-90. It was Cleveland over Oklahoma City 114-104. Chicago passed Golden State 103-83. The Lakers fell to Memphis 108-103. Dallas defeated New Orleans 108-89. San Antonio topped Detroit 120-110. Utah passed Phoenix 109-86 and the Clippers won against Houston 101-93.

The UAlbany women's basketball team had a 60-47 victory over host New Hampshire.

The Great Danes improved to 15-0 in the America East and have now won 16 consecutive games.

In the NHL, Buffalo defeated Boston 5-4 in overtime. Detroit slid past Montreal 2-1 in overtime. Los Angeles defeated Colorado 6-4 and Vancouver blanked St. Louis 1-0.

In other sports news, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed controversial Senate Bill 1062, which would have allowed Arizonans the ability to cite religious beliefs as a reason to deny services to anybody.

That comes as a sigh of relief for the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.

Yesterday Sports Illustrated published a story on its website citing NFL sources that said the NFL was beginning the process of potentially relocating next year's Super Bowl from Glendale, Ariz., in the event the bill was passed.

In baseball spring training action, Pittsburgh defeated the Yankees 6-5 and Toronto beat Philadelphia 4-3.

Finally, this year's Boston Marathon will have a "no bags" policy as part of stepped-up security following last year's deadly bombing.

Unlike years past, runners will not be allowed to bring backpacks or bags with personal items. They also won't be allowed in certain areas near the start or finish line.
