Poll Finds Massachusetts Residents See Climate Change As A Real Worry

A poll by Western New England University found while 64 percent of Massachusetts residents see climate change as a serious threat it is also viewed through a partisan lens.

   A new poll finds two-thirds of Massachusetts residents believe climate change will pose a serious threat to them during their lifetime.

    The results of the survey by the Western New England University Polling Institute show views about climate change vary depending on political party affiliation, gender, and age.

    WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with polling institute director Tim Vercellotti.
