Tales of Europe returns to Chatham for the second year with a series of five feature-length and seven short award-winning films made by European filmmakers who journey to Greenland, Morocco and Myanmar to tell their tales.

Each of these films debuted over the last year in top international festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Sundance and Toronto. The Crandell Theatre has exclusive rights to show the films for the first time in the tri-state area.

The films were curated by Larry Kardish, co-artistic director of the Crandell’s annual film festival FilmColumbia and former senior curator for film at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. An Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences Scholar, he regularly attends the major international film festivals and has served as a juror at many worldwide.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
