Berkshire Community College says after a positive COVID-19 test earlier this semester, it now has no active cases of the disease.
A student taking an in-person course at BCC’s main Pittsfield campus tested positive in September, leading to 42 students and staff members being asked to self-quarantine. As of Tuesday, interim Dean of Business and Outreach Christina Wynn says that the public college now has a clean bill of health.
“We were pleased to report that we no longer have any active COVID cases that we’re aware of within our student body and our faculty and staff,” she told WAMC.
The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams and Williams College in Williamstown are both reporting zero positive COVID cases within the last week.
