Voters in Plattsburgh elected a new mayor Tuesday.
The mayoral race in Plattsburgh was a three way contest between Independent-Republican endorsed James Calnon, independent Chris Rosenquest and Democrat Mark Tiffer. Calnon, who is the current mayor pro-tem, won the election to take the top seat in the city.
Unofficial results with 90 percent of precincts reporting show Calnon with 46%, Rosenquest 34% and Tiffer with 20%.
444 votes separate Calnon and Rosenquest. 603 absentee ballots were issued.
