Massachusetts State Police arrested 22 demonstrators in the Berkshire County town of Sandisfield Saturday at the site of a pipeline expansion.
The demonstrators refused orders to leave a restricted construction area at the site of the Kinder Morgan pipeline, a portion of which runs through Otis State Forest.
State police say the arrests in the morning and early afternoon, were made peacefully and without incident.
