President Barack Obama is praising New York's quick reaction to its first Ebola case.
Obama says he's promised local officials any federal help they need. Meanwhile, Dr. Craig Spencer, being treated for Ebola in New York City remains in the hospital where he's been since Thursday. He came back from Guinea on October 17th after treating Ebola victims with the group Doctors Without Borders.
New Jersey health officials say a woman who arrived Saturday at NewarkAirport from West Africa has tested negative for Ebola in a preliminary evaluation.
In his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama says the U.S. must be guided by science, not fear, as it responds to Ebola. He says he was proud to give Texas nurse Nina Pham a hug in the Oval Office after she was cured of Ebola.
