The Show Will Go On For Berkshire Opera Festival, Entering Season 2

Berkshire Opera Festival
Berkshire Opera in rehearsal for "Gods and Monsters."

Last year, Jonathon Loy and Brian Garman brought Berkshire County’s opera scene back to life with a production of Madama Butterfly. It was the first full-scale opera production in the Berkshires in about a decade. WAMC’s JD Allen sat down with Loy and Garman to talk about the second season of the Berkshire Opera Festival.

The first recital of the season is in Great Barrington August 8th. Mainstage performances at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield start August 26th.
