Sanders Meets With Democratic Leaders

After meeting with President Barack Obama for an hour on Thursday Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders says he has a long list of issues he plans to pursue when the Democratic Party holds its nominating convention in Philadelphia at the end of July.
Following the meeting Sanders reasserted his campaign themes and promised to continue his campaign at least through next week's primary in the District of Columbia.

Sanders also met on Thursday with Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, NY Senator Charles Schumer and  Vice President Joe Biden.

President Barack Obama praised Sanders for engaging young voters and highlighting the issues of income inequality and money in politics. Obama then announced his formal endorsement of Hillary Clinton.
