Candidates React To Health Exchange Website Shutdown

The candidates for Vermont governor are reacting to the shutdown of the state's troubled health insurance website for repairs.

Governor Peter Shumlin said Tuesday that the state has temporarily shut down the Vermont Health Connect website so it can be fixed before the start of the next open enrollment period.

Republican candidate Scott Milne says "the catastrophic failure of Vermont Health Connect is putting Vermonters at risk."

Libertarian Dan Feliciano says he's in favor of keeping the website down and moving into the federal exchange.

He says shutting down the website is the right move to protect Vermonters' personal and financial information.
