New Bishop Vows To Listen As He Forms Vision For Springfield Diocese

Mitchell Thomas Rozanski will be installed this afternoon as the 9^th bishop of the Springfield Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church. The diocese encompasses the four counties of western Massachusetts with 82 parishes and 220,000 members. Rozanski, who is 56 years old, is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He spoke with WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill on the eve of the installation.
