Talk At Berkshire Community College Will Highlight Cold Cases

Western New England University

There are more than 185,000 unresolved murders in the United States. A talk this Saturday at Berkshire Community College will focus on how cases go cold and the methods law enforcement agencies use to solve them.

The featured speaker is Dr. Sarah Stein. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Western New England University. She is also the co-founder of The Center For The Resolution Of Unresolved Crime which assists law enforcement agencies and families on cold cases. Dr. Stein spoke with WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis.

Stein will present her talk “Heating Up Cold Cases” at Berkshire Community College Saturday as part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s distinguished speaker series. The talk begins at 10:30 a.m.
