Peace Activist To Address Iraq Turmoil During Northampton Talk

Two world-traveling peace activists will talk about the turmoil in Iraq and other issues during a visit to Northampton, Massachusetts today. Kathy Kelly and Milan Rai ( rye) were members of  Voices from the Wilderness, an organization that worked to deliver medicine and toys to children in Iraq.  

Kathy Kelly and Milan Rai (rye) will speak at the Northampton Friends Meetinghouse at  7pm today.

Kelly is a co-coordinator for Voices for Creative Non-violence. She spoke with WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill about her experiences in Iraq.
