In New York, Sullivan County health officials are advising of two separate instances of positive COVID-19 cases.

Sullivan County Public Health officials are alerting people who visited Ahava Medical & Rehabilitation Urgent Care Center in Liberty on August 19, 20, 21 or 23 that they may have been exposed to an employee who was contagious with COVID-19. The individual continued to work despite feeling ill and after testing positive. Also in Liberty, there is an employee with Appletree Kosher Supermarket who was contagious with COVID-19 and worked there on August 23 and 24. Sullivan County Public Health Director Nancy McGraw says many customers and employees may not have been wearing masks and may have been exposed.

If anyone thinks s/he has been exposed, please contact Public Health Services at 845-292-5910.
