Report: U.S. Military Spending On Drones Is Set To Soar

The Center for the Study of the Drone at Bard College finds that U.S. military spending on drones in 2018 is set to outpace 2017 spending.

Co-Director Dan Gettinger says the report came about because he could not find comprehensive, reliable figures readily available to the public, so he endeavored to obtain such information from as much unclassified data as possible. Gettinger, who authored the report “Drones in the Defense Budget,” says he looked at every drone item in Pentagon budgets since 2013.

Dan Gettinger is co-director of the Center for the Study of the Drone at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson.
