Bring the youngest children in your life and enjoy a walk in the woods with Membership and Outreach Coordinator Kate Martin. Children, up to age 3, and caretakers will enjoy a relaxing walk while learning about nature and the Preserve. Meet other caregivers and children while seeing the beauty of the woods as the seasons change. Infants are welcome, but please note that our trails are not suitable for strollers. This event may be canceled due to weather; please dress appropriately for outdoor walking.

A GREAT Taste and Experience of Harlem Culture! Harlem's signature cultural dance is the world famous Lindy Hop. While nearly a 100 year old dance it is still enjoyed enormously today worldwide - as far as China, Spain and even parts of Africa!
Come on and join us on Tuesday eves so you can experience and learn this exciting cultural dance art form. You'll hear some swinging jazz classics and how to do this swinging dance to some music of today too. No partner necessary, wear comfy shoes. All ages welcome!

Mountainfilm on Tour visits Hardwick, Massachusetts at The Center. Join us for an evening of inspiring and captivating films handpicked from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado.

Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook, starring Suzanne O. Davis, is the premier musical tribute to Carole King. This show captures the essence and vibe of a 1970s Carole King concert, while respectfully paying homage to her iconic album, Tapestry. Released in 1971, Carole King’s Tapestry is one of the best-selling and most celebrated albums of all time. With heartfelt reverence, and impeccable attention to detail, Suzanne O. Davis and her world-class band deliver a stellar performance of the complete Grammy-winning album. The concert also showcases hits written by Carole King and her husband Gerry Goffin during the 60s. They proved to be one of the most successful song writing teams in pop music history, composing more than 400 songs recorded by over 1,000 artists.
Suzanne’s boundless energy, piano and vocal skills are immediately apparent from the moment she takes the stage. Her exceptional performance recreates the era of iconic recordings, uncovering the rich music history of Carole King’s extraordinary career. Including anecdotes and multi-media about Carole’s life, this show promises to be a memorable and fun interactive experience for all audiences.

Each facilitator brings their own lens of lived experience (foster parent, adoptive parent, adult adoptee).
